Fabulous Fall Friday

Today is a perfect reason why people choose to live in Colorado. The trees are turning, the sky is blue and the Broncos are winning. 

In spite of all of those signs of Fall, the reason it is fabulous is that the procedure, Luke had on his liver is over. 

The purpose of the procedure was to "obliterate" a spot on Luke's liver. Dr. Nutting shared that he was 90% confident that the spot is indeed gone. We will have to wait a few months until the swelling goes down. Meanwhile, Luke continues with his treatments as well as being strong and courageous. I am so proud of him and Katie. They are so strong and so supportive of one another. 

Today in my quiet time, I read these words that were so perfect. 

When many things seem to be going wrong, trust Me. When your life feels increasingly out of control, thank Me. These are supernatural responses, and they can lift you above your circumstances. 

Cry out to Me in My Name. Thank Me for everything, though this seems unnatural------ even irrational. 

You can face your circumstances from a humble perspective. If you choose supernatural responses this time------- trusting and thanking Me--you will experience My unfathomable Peace. 

Psalm 13:5-6

5But I trust in your unfailing love.

I will rejoice because you have rescued me.

6I will sing to the LORD

            because he is good to me.

Thank you for your continued prayers; your continued support; your continued love. 

We are so blessed to have each one of you walking beside us on this journey!
